Frenchman’s Reef Nearing Completion of Reno; Will Sport New Events Spaces

The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef is approaching the completion of a $350 million rebuild project and is slated to open in late 2022. The property, located just 15 minutes from Cyril E. King Airport and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, is accepting group inquiries.

Ideally suited for large groups, The Westin Beach Resort & Spa will offer 72,000 square feet of multipurpose event space, including the spacious Harbor Ballroom and the intimate Seaside Ballroom, both of which overlook the Caribbean Sea. The resort will also have a range of outdoor spaces, including a 20,000-square-foot pool deck, multiple outdoor terraces and two beaches.

Frenchman Reef’s beach will also serve as an additional outdoor setting, Palm Court, for group gatherings throughout the year. Featuring a layout designed for seamless flow, it will offer lounge areas along with sandy sections. Palm Court is well-suited for relaxed gatherings or workshops and can easily transition with programming and experiences from day to night.

As an additional exclusive amenity for in-house groups, Frenchman’s Reef will offer a catamaran, The Flying Frenchman, which can be reserved for private group events of up to 75 persons. Offering excursions throughout the Virgin Islands, along with snorkeling trips and sunset sails, The Flying Frenchman can host celebrations and corporate teambuilding activities of all kinds. For larger groups, the resort can provide several catamarans for similar experiences at sea.

Groups will have access to a range of accommodations featuring 392 guestrooms, including 28 suites. Signature amenities include nine restaurants and lounges throughout the complex, three pools, a Heavenly Spa by Westin, a health club, retail shopping outlets and a private adventure beach offering programming for all ages, to name a few.
