Qatar to Host Travel Event inVOYAGE

Qatar is set to welcome travel and events professionals from around the world to inVOYAGE this year at the soon-to-open Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha.

Berthold Trenkel, chief operating officer of Qatar Tourism, said: “We are thrilled to be able to support this top tier travel event bringing leading industry figures to our shores from around the world. MICE is a core focus for us as Qatar is connected directly to more than 150 destinations on all continents by the world’s best airline Qatar Airways, which we believe makes our country an ideal and accessible hub for business. We offer dedicated convention centers such as the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) and the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC),” besides a range of hotels.

Citizens of over 95 countries are eligible for visa-free entry into Qatar. By 2030, the country aims to welcome over six million visitors a year, with approximately 20 percent of them MICE travelers.
