Grand Cayman Resort Hires Director of Sales and Marketing

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has appointed Cynthia Boyett as its director of sales and marketing. Boyett brings more than two decades of hospitality experience, specializing in luxury travel and hotel operations, and is looking forward to returning to the resort.

Boyett began her career with The Ritz-Carlton brand more than 20 years ago specializing in group and catering sales, having held similar positions in various luxury hotel brands early on in her career. In 2007, she began her stint at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman as a director of group and catering sales, before shifting into a more sales-oriented role as director of sales and marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton family, Boyett worked at several resorts and hotels that laid the foundation for her career in sales and marketing, and business development.

Boyett’s latest two roles are where she credits a large amount of her growth as a leader in luxury hospitality. In 2014, she served as complex director of sales and marketing. For the past six years, she has served as market director of sales and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotels in South Beach and Bal Harbour, where she was instrumental in the implementation of marketing strategies around the Miami Grand Prix.

“We are looking forward to welcome Cynthia back to our team. Her passion for The Ritz-Carlton culture, long tenure in our company, diversity of experience, knowledge of our market and the strong relationships she has developed with our key business partners will be instrumental in returning our resort to top performance after two years of isolation,” said Marc Langevin, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. “Since she left the resort in 2008, Cynthia has assumed various positions, leading to her current responsibility as market director for two Ritz-Carlton resorts in Miami, her implementation of marketing strategies around the Miami Grand Prix are of particular note and will be valuable in ensuring the future success of our resort.”
