Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark and Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, two Marcus Hotels & Resorts destinations located in Lake Geneva, WI, have announced extensive renovations to their waterpark and meeting space, respectively. New experiences will be unveiled at the popular Moose Mountain Falls waterpark at Timber Ridge this month. In spring 2024, Grand Geneva will unveil redesigned meeting and event spaces. These enhancements are the latest investment in a series of major renovations across the shared resort campus.
The renovation of Grand Geneva’s 62,000 square feet of meeting space is planned to begin in December 2023. The upgraded facilities will include modern furnishings, flexible open layouts and updated technology capabilities. Over the past three years, Grand Geneva has spent over $30 million on guestrooms, public space renovations and upgrades. The resort plans to make further significant investments in the property with the renovation of its meeting spaces and further improvements to its recreational facilities and offerings.
In the first half of 2023, Grand Geneva unveiled the contemporary redesign of its 358 guestrooms and suites. In 2022, all guest bathrooms received full renovations, and in spring 2021, a public area renovation included a reinvention of the resort’s lobby and lobby lounge, a complete renovation of the resort’s Grand Café, and the launch of its new 60-seat outdoor dining venue, The Landing.
Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, a family-friendly all-suite resort located on a shared 1,300-acre resort campus with Grand Geneva, has also undergone significant upgrades to its 50,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor waterpark, Moose Mountain Falls, adding new water activities and interactive attractions. The hotel and waterpark, with its own restaurants and family-friendly programming, as well as select shared facilities with Grand Geneva, will reopen on November 17, 2023 after a three-month renovation.
