Omni PGA Frisco Resort Celebrates Topping Out

The Omni PGA Frisco Resort recently celebrated its topping out with an official ceremony that marked a key milestone for the country’s largest resort currently in development. Slated to open in spring 2023, the resort will offer 510 guestrooms and Texas ranch homes, entertainment, dining and retail options, and two championship golf courses, representing a $520 million investment into the city of Frisco.

Omni Hotels & Resorts, general contractors Brasfield & Gorrie, and SB Architects participated in the traditional ceremony, which included an unveiling of the resort’s model guestrooms.

“Topping out is an opportunity to celebrate the work of the hundreds of teammates who have built this hotel structure. Their efforts make this exciting project possible,” said Jason Weeks, Brasfield & Gorrie regional vice-president and division manager, in a press statement. “We’re also grateful for our ongoing relationship with Omni Hotels & Resorts and TRT Holdings, for whom we’ve previously built the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel, TRT Holdings headquarters and other projects.”

Jeff Smith, vice president and managing director of Omni PGA Frisco Resort, gave special thanks to the hundreds of construction workers in attendance, as well as TRT Holdings’ Blake and Robert Rowling, and Peter Strebel for their commitment towards building the resort.

Now open for group sales, Omni PGA Frisco Resort, owned and developed by Omni Hotels & Resorts in a private-public partnership with the city of Frisco, will open in spring 2023.
