Pendry Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Pendry Newport Beach, marking the brand’s eighth property in the collection and third opening in Southern California. Located steps from Fashion Island, the hotel has 295 guestrooms, including 114 suites overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Newport Harbor and/or Back Bay.
The hotel is home to a range of dining, wellness and lifestyle concepts: SET Steak & Sushi; Bar Pendry; Tree Shack Pool Bar & Grill; Spa Pendry; Fitness Center; and Paintbox, Pendry’s signature kids club (ages five to 12).
Located in its own private wing, The Elwood Club is the inaugural and flagship members club celebrating music, art, travel, fashion, food, drink, wellness and sport through a calendar of bespoke programming and events. The Elwood Club offers private, members-only spaces and offerings including:
- Viamara, an indoor/outdoor Italian dining concept serving as the signature lunch and dinner restaurant for The Elwood Club. It also offers a range of beverages.
- The Pub, which offers regular pub fare alongside draft beers, as wel as cozy lounge seating, a fireplace and golf simulator.
- The Cabaret will offer live entertainment and intimate shows, plus an extensive beverage menu.
Pendry Newport Beach also offers over 58,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces, including the 8,700-square-foot Grand Ballroom; three private salon spaces with outdoor terraces; the Gallery, offering 3,900 square feet of pre-function space; and the Event Lawn, ideal for al-fresco celebrations. State-of-the-art technology, high-touch service and a range of amenities complement each meeting and event space.
Pendry Newport Beach’s “Stay & Play” offer includes a $75 daily resort credit ($150 for suites and $300 for specialty suites) to use towards any one of the resort’s dining concepts, poolside or at Spa Pendry.
