Fontainebleau Las Vegas Announces Opening Date

Fontainebleau Las Vegas has announced the opening of its 55,000-square-foot Lapis Spa and 14,000-square-foot Fitness Center, which will be available to guests upon the resort’s debut on December 13, 2023, pending regulatory approvals.

Designed by Milan-based Lissoni & Partners and led by Fontainebleau Las Vegas Director of Spa and Wellness Jennifer Lynn, Lapis Spa pays homage to Morris Lapidus, the architect and designer of the original Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The two-level spa offers a personalized and immersive experience, blending the art of ancient rejuvenation methodologies with innovative modern healing technologies.

Lapis Spa offers a full spectrum of wellness facilities including 44 massage, facial and body treatment rooms, cold plunges, a nail salon, reboot lounge and penthouse spa for small group experiences. Additional highlights include infrared saunas, an event sauna, a salt mist chamber, seven experience showers, a snow shower and a herbal inhalation room.

Complementing Lapis Spa is the Fitness Center. A functional and performance-based environment, the Fitness Center will offer Peloton bikes, treadmills, rowers, VersaClimbers and Echo bikes alongside traditional cardio equipment. Advanced strength equipment located in the Performance Zone include Jacob’s Ladder, HIIT modular system, and a sled push and tractor tire flip area to diversify the workout experience. A Movement studio within the Fitness Center will offer daily classes in yoga, Pilates and stretch and recovery. Guests will also have access to personal trainers.

Guests can enter Lapis Spa and the Fitness Center via the second level of the wellness corridor within the 67-story Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The destination resort sprawled across nearly 25 acres at the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip
