The Hong Kong Tourism Board has announced new developments in the destination, including two newly opened properties: The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery and The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong.
The MGallery Hotel Collection, part of the Accor group, has announced its debut in Hong Kong. The Silveri Hong Kong – MGallery is an eco-friendly property located in Tung Chung, Lantau Island. The hotel takes its name and inspiration from the historic silver mines of Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. The 206-key hotel has silver décor and metallic design motifs throughout, besides an outdoor sculpture garden.
The sustainable property has achieved a BEAM Plus Gold rating and will offer several green initiatives and eco-friendly guest experiences. The property is located within the iconic Citygate mixed-use commercial complex, just five-minutes away from the Hong Kong International Airport and 30 minutes from the city center. The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong is located in the Southside of Hong Kong Island with views of the South China Sea. The hotel marks The Fullerton Hotels’ brand debut in the destination and its first resort worldwide. The 425-key property embraces the early history of Aberdeen, once a bustling trading port filled with the fragrance of incense. The waterfront resort is just a 15-minute drive from Hong Kong’s central business district.
