Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego Debuts Revamped Rooms

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego has unveiled its redesigned Seaport Tower deluxe guestrooms. Following the unveiling of its updated signature restaurant Sally’s, this development advances the bayfront hotel’s comprehensive transformation by introducing the first wave of refreshed accommodations. Designed in collaboration with Parker Torres Design, the room renovation commenced in January 2025 and will continue through 2026.

The redesigned deluxe rooms blend "coastal luxury with maritime charm" inspired by the luxury yachts dotting San Diego’s adjacent marina. Rich wood accents complement blue hues that mirror the neighboring bay, while carpet patterns are reminiscent of teak yacht decking, reflective artwork and surfaces evoke the water and sailing-inspired fabrics complete the look.

The newly transformed deluxe Seaport Tower rooms represent the first collection of accommodations in the hotel’s phased renovation, now available for booking, with the complete tower overhaul to be finished by year-end. Harbor Tower renovations will begin later this year, with newly designed rooms launching progressively and full completion targeted for summer 2026.

This comprehensive refresh is part of Manchester Grand Hyatt’s property-wide renovation effort, which encompasses all 1,628 guestrooms and suites; more than 320,000 square feet of meeting space; multiple dining venues including the recently reopened Sally’s and the forthcoming revamped Top of the Hyatt; as well as recreational areas featuring two rooftop pool decks.
