Hyatt Regency in Florida to Renovate Meeting & Event Spaces

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, FL, will begin renovating its meeting and event spaces in mid-July, 2025. Expected to be completed early this autumn, the multimillion-dollar project will elevate the resort’s existing event capabilities.

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa has 82,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. Outdoor spaces include the Belvedere Terrace, the Banyan Courtyard and the Royal Palm and Cypress Courtyards. Indoor spaces include the 14,000-square-foot Calusa Ballroom and Terrace, as well as the 7,000-square-foot Estero Ballroom and Terrace. The meeting space will be outfitted with new carpeting, wall coverings and artwork. Lighting fixtures will be updated to include a mesh chandelier reminiscent of a conch shell in the Estero Ballroom and lighting installations with opalescent glasswork and silver accents throughout the additional spaces.

The renovation will enhance the Calusa Ballroom Terrace, adding new pavers, lighting upgrades and new integrated turf with redesigned landscaping reminiscent of a tropical garden.

In addition, the registration desk area will be updated with a new digital signage display bordered by custom wood millwork. The meeting space restrooms will also be updated with a new color palette, wooden vanities and modern fixtures.

This project complements recent resort updates including a full guestroom renovation in 2022, the newly designed Tarpon Bay restaurant and enhanced water park experience in 2023, and the debut of the renovated Tanglewood – A Southern Kitchen in 2024.

While on-site, groups can enjoy the resort’s private island, Big Hickory Island, which is part of the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve. Additionally, the resort partners with Global Works Events for off-site adventures including deep sea fishing, kayak excursions through the mangrove forests, catamaran and yacht tours, as well as trolley and bicycle tours of downtown Naples.
