The State building houses the 2,850-square-foot Alhambra Ballroom; it is set next to the 4,500-square-foot Court of Califia event lawn, and below a 3,670-square-foot rooftop deck. Perched atop the Californian building’s fourth floor is the 3,500-square-foot Mirador rooftop, offering 360-degree views of the mountains and coastline. It can accommodate up to 180 guests. Additional spaces include five flexible meeting rooms in the Mason building, with capacity for up to 60 people. Two rooms, one of which can be divided into two equal sections, surround a shared foyer. Adjacent to the lobby and library bar is a 770-square-foot meeting room and a 350-square-foot executive boardroom, ideal for corporate retreats, board meetings and private dinners.
Hotel Californian has launched two offers for meetings and events. It provides incentives and savings when booking events, ranging from full hotel buyout to small groups.
With the “Being On Your Own Never Felt So Good” offer, the group booking all 121 rooms per night for an exclusive Hotel Californian buyout will receive:
- A complimentary Hospitality Hour (including house wine, beer, and chef’s choice of appetizers) on day of arrival
- One complimentary guestroom for every 50 paid and consumed room nights
- Waived meeting room rental with minimum of $100,000 in F&B commitment
- 10 percent discount on AV equipment with exclusive use of onsite AV company
- Three complimentary 60-minute treatments at Majorelle Spa
- 10 complimentary welcome amenities
- Two complimentary room nights for site inspection
- Two roundtrip transfers for Santa Barbara airport
The contract must be signed by December 31, 2023. The offer is not applicable to previously contracted groups.
With the “Curated Savings in the Heart of the Funk Zone” offer, the group booking 10 or more guestrooms per night for two or more consecutive nights will receive three of the following:
- Waived nightly resort fee
- One complimentary upgrade with special amenity (hotel’s choice) per every 25 paid and consumed room nights
- One complimentary guestroom per every 50 paid and consumed room nights
- 10 percent discount on AV equipment with exclusive use of onsite AV company
- Complimentary general sessions rental
- 20 percent discount on treatments at the hotel’s Majorelle Spa
