Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Completes Renovations

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, about an hour from Milwaukee in Lake Geneva, WI, has announced the completion of its recent renovation that transformed the indoor lobby space and added a new 60-seat outdoor dining facility to the 1,300-acre resort.

Occupying 900 square feet of space on the outdoor patio, the new restaurant, The Landing, is now open for guests. It has a covered pergola, adjustable-height glass railings, overhead fans and heating, allowing diners to enjoy the space from early spring through late autumn. Executive Chef Nelly Buleje has launched a new seasonal menu for the restaurant, inspired by its impressive outdoor views.

The Grand Café has also been reconfigured to include a large central banquette in the dining room, and a separate buffet area.

The resort’s lobby and lobby lounge have been updated as an open-concept space with large windows allowing guests to enjoy the natural light and landscape views.

“The lobby lounge was designed to resemble a modern lodge, with expansive loft-like spaces that incorporate areas for dining, lounging, working and socializing,” said James Cull, design director and associate principal of Rottet Studio, the New York City-based architecture and design firm which led the design project. “This contemporary mixed-approach is similar to how one hosts guests in their own country home or lake house.”

The lobby lounge bar has also been extended offering more comfortably spaced seating opposite a large stone fireplace. The furnishings are upholstered in a contemporary palette of neutral fabrics, and natural leathers and woods.

Other amenities at the 356-room Grand Geneva Resort & Spa include a WELL Spa + Salon; two championship 18-hole golf courses; The Mountain Top, a ski and snowboard facility; 62,000 square feet of meeting and convention space and three restaurants. Also on the resort’s grounds is the Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, with 225 guest suites and an indoor/outdoor waterpark.
