Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Guangzhou Zengcheng. The 408-room hotel, which also includes serviced apartments, is centrally located in the Zengcheng National Economic and Technological Development Zone of east Guangzhou, China.
Guests will be close to the attached Guangzhou Zengcheng Hopson One shopping malls and offices, and the hotel is just a 10-minute drive to Guangzhou East Transportation Hub, offering easy access to the Greater Bay Area.
Zengcheng has recently emerged as an important industrial and commercial center of Guangzhou. The city is also part of the Transit Oriented Development of South China, which integrates three high-speed national railways, two twin-city rails and four subway lines, linking the major cities of Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Zengcheng—traditionally known for being the home of the lychee fruit—holds historical significance as the center of Lingnan culture and is a place of natural beauty given its proximity to the Nanxiangshan Forest Park.
The hotel’s 408 guestrooms, including 21 suites, have an infusion of traditional Lingnan culture, evident in the colorful artworks that depict details of the local architecture and nature. The hotel’s dining scene is led by signature Chinese restaurant Xiang Yue. Through its open kitchens, it serves authentic flavors of Cantonese, Chaozhou and Jiangzhe cuisines. In addition to the main dining room, it has eight private rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of the city.
Market Café serves breakfast and dinner, plus an all-day a la carte menu at interactive open kitchens. For a family dining experience, the hotel offers two private dining rooms and a children’s play area. Traditional Lingnan elegance meets contemporary comfort at The Lounge, which offers afternoon teas and a selection of wines, spirits and cocktails from the central bar.
Hyatt Regency Guangzhou Zengcheng also offers 31,528 square feet of venues for meetings, events and weddings. The 9,149-square-foot Regency Ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious foyer suitable for large exhibitions. There are also eight multifunction rooms, and a 4,855-square-foot outdoor event garden.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the indoor heated pool on the second floor, while families can make use of the dedicated children’s pool and playground. A 24-hour fitness center equipped with weights and cardio equipment is also available.
