DC’s Morrow Hotel Unveils Four New Meetings and Events Venues

Newly opened this past November in Washington D.C.’s NoMA neighborhood, The Morrow Washington DC, Curio Collection by Hilton has delivered 11,400 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, besides three F&B venues from Michelin-starred chef Nicholas Stefanelli.

Located on the second floor, The Armature Ballroom offers 3,150 square feet of open space. The venue has natural lighting and an artistic floating ceiling fixture. This expansive, pillarless room accommodates up to 180 guests, providing an inspiring venue for large conferences, galas and special events. A dedicated foyer space provides a breakout for pre- or post-event functions, plus the ballroom opens onto The Veranda, a 2,200-square-foot terrace.

Across from The Armature Ballroom, The Veranda is a 2,200-square-foot outdoor terrace with city views. This semi-private terrace is ideal for mingling and dinner soirees, enabling guests to move in and out of The Armature Ballroom. The space accommodates 250 guests for standing cocktails and 150 guests for a seated dinner. It includes a retractable awning roof, a built-in bar top that runs the full length of the space and a showcase cantilever overhang with an oversized piece of art. Guests can book The Veranda as a part of larger events in The Armature Ballroom or rent the space separately for smaller events.

Located on the Mezzanine Level, The NoMa Rooms is ideal for smaller meetings and social gatherings from 12 to 36 guests. Versatile configurations can be arranged within the 800-square-foot space with optional conference-style room design, or intimate event set-ups. The Tanner Room is located on the second level and frames views of the Capitol Building. The 875-square-foot room has floor-to-ceiling soundproof windows and can be utilized as a stand-alone space with a multitude of purposes, breakout or combined with the Ballroom and Veranda as a floor buy-out for up to 42 guests.

Guests can also opt for full buyouts of the F&B venues led by Chef Nicholas Stefanelli including Le Clou, offering a modern take on the traditional French brasserie; Vesper, a moody and intimate cocktail lounge; and Upstairs at The Morrow, a rooftop lounge and bar. Stefanelli and his team will also be responsible for all events, weddings and meeting spaces.

Besides its catering program, the meetings and events venues at The Morrow afford views of Washington D.C. landmarks, floor-to-ceiling windows, fire pit capabilities (for outdoor space), multi-purpose design, Wi-Fi and a range of audio and visual equipment. The Morrow also has a Wedding & Events team in place to assist with decor and event planning on site that is bookable upon request.
