Cavallo Point San Francisco Has New Wellness Offerings

Looking at the growing demand for wellness-centric amenities and programming in business and group travel, the Cavallo Point lodge in San Francisco has partnered with integrative medicine physician and BlueWave Medicine founder Dr. Brad Jacobs to offer a variety of group activities and corporate seminars tailored to each organization’s culture and strategic objectives.

Dr. Brad has utilized Cavallo Point’s roster of on-site health and executive coaching professionals and technicians from the property’s Healing Arts Center & Spa and Cooking School to create the wellness programs for groups. Among the offerings are the three- or five-night “Integrative Medicine Packages,” aimed to enable guests make a positive change in their lives by combining modern medicine with traditional East-West practices and include comprehensive and personalized health consultations with Dr. Brad, 21-day follow up plan and follow-up phone consultation with Dr. Brad, Healing Arts Center & Spa credit, premier accommodations and a special integrative medicine amenity.  

Other wellness-centric programs will include “Interactive Lectures” addressing such topics as “Cultivating Resilience,” “Enhancing Your Brain,” and “The 6 Key Pillars of Healthy Living;” and “Experiences & Workshops,” including Tai Chi and Qigong, “The Inspired Life” (designed to help executive teams work better together, improve results and enhance work culture) and “Epic Fitness Adventures,” which combine outdoor adventure with lectures on the physiology and health benefits of adventure and exercise. 

What’s more, Dr. Brad has also teamed up with Cavallo Point’s Healing Arts Center & Spa to create “The 6 Key Pillars of Healthy Living,” a stress reduction program that was created in response to the growing awareness of the importance of physical, mental and emotional health. With the six pillars being identified as Active Living; Healthy Eating; Restorative Sleep; Stress Reduction and Awareness; Connection; Passion and Purpose and Gratitude, the program offers an array of integrative experiences that aim to help guests better manage stress, improve resiliency and mental clarity, optimize restorative sleep and experience the healing quality of outdoor activities and exercise.

Participation in this program invites guests to take advantage of a number of wellness experiences that address one of the six pillars such as meditation classes, hikes throughout the surrounding lush national parkland, herbal consultations, custom sound baths, energy clearing treatments, intuitive readings, shamanic journeys and more.
