Casa Velas in Mexico Offering New Communal Co-Working Retreat

With many companies going permanently remote or getting ready to go back to the office and looking for ways to build synergy, Casa Velas, a luxury all-inclusive boutique hotel for adults only in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is offering a new communal co-working retreat.

Designed to reconnect coworkers, the new “Co-Work & Create Package” engages companies onsite through team building, wellness activities, culinary experiences and more. Offerings range from DIY garden-to-glass botanical cocktails in the garden, golf and sunrise yoga on the beach to interactive cooking classes on healthy antojitos (Mexican savory street snacks), locally inspired spa workshops and a ‘Sabores de México’ Tasting Experience featuring regional Mexican cuisine and spirits.

Teams that seek more of an adventure can go hiking and zip lining, discover off-the-beaten-path beaches and snorkel at popular geographic formations. When it’s time to get down to business, Casa Velas offers over 3,600 square feet of indoor space for meetings, seminars, business center or Zoom meetings as necessary. Both seven- and 14-day retreats can be tailored to a company’s goals.

The hotel has 80 suites, some with private pools and Jacuzzis. Located on the greens of Marina Vallarta's 18-hole golf course, this Puerto Vallarta hotel offers guests a 25 percent discount on green fees. Casa Velas’ guests also have beach access at Táu Beach Club, overlooking the ocean, with a jacuzzi, pool, delectable cuisine and an expansive event space. ABJA Spa encompasses treatment rooms for singles and couples, a hydrotherapy area, garden-view fitness center and a beauty salon.

Companies booking a minimum of 60 suites receive exclusive use of the hotel and its meeting, event and recreation spaces for total privacy.

All-inclusive resort rates for groups start at $323 per person per night based on double occupancy. An eight-suite minimum applies. The "Group Takeover" starts at $18,000 per night in European Plan (does not include taxes and resort fee per suite) and $38,760 per night in the resort’s all-inclusive plan (60 suites only). Luxury accommodations, meals, premium liquor and wine, 24-hour suite service, use of the fitness center facilities, Wi-Fi, taxes and gratuities are included in the nightly rate.
