Accor has announced that Hotel Ändra Seattle will join the group’s portfolio as the newest addition to the MGallery Hotel Collection. Located in the city’s Central Business District, the 10-story hotel offers 123 guestrooms and suites. Just off the heels of a $12 million property-wide renovation, Hotel Ändra Seattle – MGallery will maintain its Nordic design and signature offerings.
Located between the South Lake Union and Belltown neighborhoods, Hotel Ändra Seattle is a 10-minute walk from popular attractions including the Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Amazon Global Headquarters, Washington State Convention Center and the Waterfront. Inspired by the city’s Scandinavian heritage, the hotel interiors highlight the Swedish baroque period with luxurious furnishings in velvet, wool and linen. The heart of the hotel is the sun-lit Living Room lobby with its full-height fireplace.
Hotel Ändra Seattle is also known for the Hot Stove Society, a cooking school led by chef and restaurateur, Tom Douglas. Open year-round on the hotel’s second floor, Hot Stove Society offers a range of recreational cooking classes and events. One of two restaurants on property, Lola, also helmed by Douglas, celebrates Greek-influenced flavors mingled with the bounty of the Pacific Northwest, while Assaggio Ristorante showcases the bold flavors of central and northern Italy, complemented by a wine list curated by owner and chef, Mauro Golmarvi.
The MGallery Hotel Collection continues its expansion, with more than 55 hotels in varying stages of development. Accor will also open the first MGallery Hotel & Residences in Mexico with the debut of Mayaliah Tulum Hotel & Residences – MGallery, slated for 2024.
