The 34th annual Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA) Summit will be held at the new Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City between August 6-8, 2023. The announcement was made by PCMA and CEMA President and CEO Sherrif Karamat last month.

Said Karamat: “We remain committed to providing the CEMA community with new formats, immersive and interactive peer to peer environment and innovations to spark new ideas that power event marketers to the next level of their profession.”

CEMA Summit participants include marketing directors, corporate event and tradeshow executives, agency professionals and industry solutions providers representing the top brands in the events industry. Participants learn the most impactful trends, as well as the most effective event engagement strategies and creative executions, from the people who make them happen. They also have a front row seat to a showcase of leading-edge innovation in event technology, production and attendee experience.

Located in Salt Lake City’s compact and walkable convention district, the newly opened Hyatt Regency offers 60,000 square feet of meeting space, including the destination’s largest indoor hotel ballroom and the largest outdoor rooftop space. Additional meeting spaces include 21 flexible breakout rooms, pre-function areas and a second ballroom. CEMA Summit participants will enjoy energizing meeting spaces with intuitive design, tech-enabled conveniences, along with breathtaking views of the Salt Lake City skyline and the snowcapped mountains through floor-to-ceiling glass windows in its guestrooms and grand ballroom.

Jarrod Finley, director of sales and marketing, Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City, added, "Our downtown location, just steps from our thriving arts and culture scene, along with our nearby scenic mountains and outdoor experiences, will allow CEMA Summit attendees to enjoy our city’s urban-mountain lifestyle.”

“On behalf of the entire Salt Lake City community, Visit Salt Lake is honored to welcome CEMA members, and we look forward to hosting a remarkably successful Summit event,” said Mark White, chief sales and experience officer, Visit Salt Lake.
