New Brand Identity Launched for Incentives and Meetings Malta

"Incentives and Meetings," part of Visit Malta, is the new brand being launched this month to focus on continuing the development of the substantial MICE business opportunities the destination has enjoyed over the years. Previously known as Conventions Malta, Visit Malta Incentives and Meetings is a new brand that has been launched as part of the Malta Tourism Authority’s brand-consolidation strategy.

The creative was designed by Oliver Ireland, the global agency for the Malta Tourism Authority, reflecting the core opportunities and values that Malta presents for MICE business.

Speaking about the new corporate identity for Visit Malta Incentives and Meetings, Director Christophe Berger, said: “We have invested considerable research time looking at the positioning of our brand and believe that aligning with the Visit Malta brand and its coherent core values was the most sensible move to make. Malta has an amazing offering for Incentives and Meetings and we look forward to continue actively promoting Malta in the international market. Malta International Airport’s connectivity is back to 85 percent of what it was in 2019 (and growing) and the islands have just been included in the Forbes Star Award program. Malta’s gastronomy offering has been developing at a fast pace and can now boast five restaurants with Michelin stars. We are excited for the future outlook, especially seeing important organizations bring their meetings and conferences to our Islands during the coming months.”

Visit Malta Incentives and Meetings will be attending IMEX in Frankfurt from May 31 to June 2, IBTM World in Barcelona from November 29 to December 1, IMEX America from October 11 to 13 and The Meetings Show in London on June 29-30. There are also plans for FAM trips and other events to promote Malta in the near future.
