Suncadia Resort Announces New Appointments

Suncadia Resort in Washington has announced the appointment of Adam Dyes as national sales manager and Layne Young as the wedding & event sales manager.

With over 25 years of experience working with leading national hotel brands in the Seattle, Wash. area, Dyes brings a wealth of knowledge to the Cle Elum resort, where he specializes in association business across all sectors as well as across religion, government, construction and aerospace sectors.

In the past 13 years, he focused on bringing association business from across the country to Seattle for state, regional and national conferences at Hyatt HotelsMotif Seattle and Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center, and The DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Airport. In 2009, he was sales manager at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, after working as director of sales & catering at Three Rivers Convention Center and launching his career as catering sales manager at Red Lion Hotels in 1996.

Dyes is a member of the Washington Society of Association Executives, past president of the Pacific Northwest chapter of PCMA and earned his CMP designation in May 2016.

Working alongside Dyes on the weddings and events front is Young, who has spent the past three years working in the event industry. Previously, she worked in the weddings space in numerous roles, from the banquet team to wedding planning. She is a graduate of Washington State University, where she worked on the entertainment board planning events for groups ranging from 25 to over 1,000 people.
