ATPI Restructures Management Team to Drive Regional Growth

Global travel and event management company, ATPI, has announced key changes within its U.S. leadership team. Transitioning from his current position as senior director of sales and account management of North America, Ettienne de Swardt has been appointed managing director, USA. He will succeed Judy “JP” Peplinski, who will be moving into a new role as head of global strategy, energy division.

These appointments mark a significant step in ATPI’s plans for continued expansion across the Americas and support its ability to deliver expert travel management solutions to this key market.

With more than 30 years of experience in the travel industry, de Swardt brings a wealth of knowledge in managing complex travel logistics across diverse industries and global markets. His career spans key markets including South Africa, the U.K. and the U.S., where he has built strong relationships with airline and travel partners and earned a reputation for delivering operational excellence. For the last decade, under the leadership of predecessor Peplinski, de Swardt has been instrumental in driving ATPI’s growth across America.

In her new role as head of global strategy, energy division, Peplinski will continue to leverage her proven track record of building strong client relationships and a forward-thinking approach. Her established relationships and leadership reputation will continue to be pivotal in ATPI’s support of the nation’s leading energy operators.

While de Swardt and Peplinski will focus primarily on energy, marine and mining travel within the U.S., they will be supported on a global level by Zara Higgins, who is stepping into a new role as head of energy.
