theWit, a Hilton Hotel in Chicago’s Loop, has unveiled two renovated signature event spaces: the Gateway Room and the Phoenix Lounge. The property has also introduced a corporate wellness program for groups looking to incorporate fitness or other healing modalities into their meetings.
Both the Gateway Room and the Phoenix Lounge are located next to each other on the second level of the property, and can be rented separately or together for any social or corporate event. Additionally, Chef Steve Chiappetti can customize menus for any private event to accommodate seated meals, receptions, tasting stations, dietary needs and more. The Gateway Room is ideal for private brunches, bachelorette parties, small weddings, rehearsal dinners, reception-style corporate functions and more. It has a full kitchen, private breakout space and A/V capabilities. Traditionally a guest lounge area and co-working space, the Phoenix Lounge has now expanded functionality as a larger collaborative space, with 50 additional receptors.
In addition to having a personal trainer available for private booking in the hotel’s newly refurbished fitness center seven days a week, theWit has launched a Corporate Wellness Program that allows meeting planners to integrate wellness into conferences and events. In partnership with lifestyle brand High Society, customized group offerings include yoga and mat Pilates sessions for groups; sound healing and guided meditation to center minds and soothe nerves; group HIIT classes and team-building workouts; Reiki, massage therapy and acupuncture for deeper rejuvenation; and health and mental wellness seminars led by certified experts.
Whether hosting a small leadership retreat or a large-scale event, planners can tailor wellness elements with the help of theWit’s team. All experiences are managed from start to finish and can be held in private meeting spaces or even within the recently renovated Spa@theWit.
The hotel is located steps from the Theater District, State Street shopping, Chicago Riverwalk, and all “L" train public transit stops (including those connecting to O’Hare and Midway). It participates in the Hilton EventReady with CleanStay program to create event experiences that are clean, flexible, safe and socially responsible.
