Signia by Hilton Debuts Flagship Hotel in Downtown Atlanta

Hilton has announced the opening of the 976-room Signia by Hilton Atlanta, marking the first new-build and Georgia hotel for the Signia by Hilton brand and Atlanta’s largest ground-up hotel development project in 40 years. Inclusive of the property’s debut, Atlanta represents Hilton’s largest market globally by number of hotels, with a portfolio of 136 hotels across 13 brands. In Atlanta, Hilton also has a pipeline of more than 40 hotels in various stages of design and construction.

Built on the repurposed foundation of the Georgia Dome, Signia by Hilton Atlanta is owned by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) and forms part of the Authority’s Championship Campus, North America’s largest combined convention, sports and entertainment destination, which also includes Georgia World Congress Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Centennial Olympic Park.

As the tallest building on the west side of Atlanta, the 42-story property spans 1.25 million square feet. Of the hotel's 976 guestrooms, there are 70 suites and up to 80 Club Signia rooms, available only as an exclusive guest experience, plus additional specialty room types with Peloton bikes in-room and dedicated wellness rooms. All guestrooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows, a walk-in rain shower, coffee machines, steamers, umbrellas, custom lighting and modern technology. Guests who book Club Signia gain a multitude of extras, including a dedicated Club Ambassador, access to Club Signia guestrooms, early check-in and late check-out, premium Wi-Fi and access to the Club Signia lounge that has all-day F&B offerings, including club-style cocktail service, chef demonstrations and made-to-order snacks and small plates.

The hotel houses a range of F&B options: Capolinea is the signature restaurant serving Italian fine dining; Nest on Four is a modern sports bar with views of Mercedes-Benz Stadium; Homespun is a Southern breakfast destination; Friendship Market offers grab-and-go essentials and a selection of local favorites; Highball is the hotel’s seasonal pool bar; and Lobby Bar offers classic cocktails and cocktails complemented by seasonal shareable plates.

Signia by Hilton Atlanta offers more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and events space, including a large ballroom, a flexible social ballroom and three boardrooms with Mercedes-Benz Stadium views. Event organizers and meeting planners also have access to more than 30,000 square feet of outdoor space, including an event deck and an event lawn. Guests have direct access to Georgia World Congress Center via a pedestrian walkway, allowing convention guests prime access to GWCC’s Georgia ballroom and breakout rooms throughout their stay.

Besides bespoke food and beverage services, guests can enjoy interactive components to their meetings and events, ranging from experiential meeting breaks to chef dinners and mixology demonstrations.

Signia by Hilton Atlanta also has an entire floor dedicated to wellness, inclusive of a fitness center, spa, beauty bar and an outdoor rooftop complete with a pool and lounge that overlook Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The spa and beauty bar are expected to debut in winter.
