Omni Las Colinas Hotel near Dallas, TX, has announced the completion of a $20 million renovation across all 421 guestrooms, including 111 suites, and the Las Colinas Ballroom. This final phase of the renovation follows the $13 million revitalization of the property’s public spaces.
The previous renovation introduced a lakeside resort-style experience with The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge & Pool Deck, featuring daybeds, fire pits, private cabanas and a 10,700-square-foot event lawn. It also debuted three new dining concepts: LRH Restaurant & Bar, offering Texas-style cuisine; Flossie’s, serving breakfast and weekend brunch; and Over the Counter (OTC), Omni’s first gourmet market concept serving hand-crafted espresso drinks and snacks.

Perched on the banks of Lake Carolyn, the property’s renovation continues to honor the character of the master-planned community shaped by ranching heritage. Once known as El Ranchito de Las Colinas by original landowners John W. Carpenter and his wife, Flossie, the area has evolved into a symbol of entrepreneurial spirit and urban sophistication. That spirit is carried into the redesigned guestrooms and suites, which incorporate warm neutral tones, natural woods and soft dusty blues to reflect the surrounding hills, native wildlife and peaceful waters. In the Governor and Presidential Suites, original floor-to-ceiling green marble bathrooms have been thoughtfully preserved, adding a timeless touch.
Whether enjoying expansive views through panoramic windows or stepping onto a private balcony, guests are immersed in a setting where the spirit of the Texas plains meets the energy of a booming Fortune 500 city. Guests staying in the Governor’s Suite can enjoy views of Lake Carolyn and the Las Colinas skyline. The suite features a spacious living room with a marble fireplace, sofa and lounge seating; a dining table for eight; work and relaxation zone in a dedicated office alcove; spacious private balcony with lake views; floor-to-ceiling green marble bathroom preserved from the original hotel construction; and amenities including a coffeemaker, plush robes and STAYCAST streaming.
The Presidential Suite features an expansive living area with a pool table, grand piano and multiple spaces for socializing; dining table for eight, buffet cabinet and floor-to-ceiling windows with skyline views; sleek, modern furnishings; green marble bathroom, an original feature of the hotel; and all premium guest amenities.
