Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman Opens Its Doors

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman has opened its doors on Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach. The property has been developed by IHG Hotels & Resorts and Dart, with design led by New Orleans-based Farouki Farouki.

The hotel has 288 guestrooms, including 38 suites, with waterfront views and furnished outdoor balconies. The Family Suites offer king beds, bunk beds, living and dining areas, two bathrooms, private balconies and a sofa bed, while the Presidential Suite offers a bedroom and living area, a powder room, a separate bath and walk-in shower, a refrigerator, a stocked minibar and an outdoor living space with views of the Caribbean Sea.

F&B options at Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman include Café Alula, a grab-and-go concept in the lobby, offering beverages and refreshments alongside baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and healthy snacks; the all-day Catalina Bar & Lounge in the food hall; Catalina, an all-day dining room; Milkberry, an Asian-influenced sushi counter serving lunch and dinner; and Rasa, with its open kitchen, offers rotating dining concepts, besides a tasting menu. Pom Pom is the rooftop lounge on the hotel’s ninth floor. The experience includes South American-inspired small plates and cocktails with a wood-fired twist and Latin flair. Guests can enjoy happy hour specials, nightcaps and weekend brunches. DJ-led programming and activations round out the experience.

The hotel has two infinity pools—one for adults and another for families. Adjacent to the pools, the Bata Bar offers cocktails paired with coastal California-inspired cuisine. Included in the resort fee is a beachside experience steps away from the hotel. Guests can make use of complimentary beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Additionally, owing to a partnership with the neighborhood Beach Club, they can enjoy beachside food and service.

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman offers over 7,500 feet of customizable space and bespoke catering services. Venues include the 6,000-square-foot Azure Ballroom; the 1,050-square-foot Cobalt Meeting Room; and the Sapphire Boardroom, an intimate setting ideal for executive team meetings, presentations and brainstorming sessions.

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman’s 24/7 fitness center has new equipment and outdoor yoga classes are offered three times per week.

Guests can opt for snorkeling excursions at Stingray City or explore Camana Bay, a waterfront town with shops, bars, restaurants, and more. Additionally, North Sound Golf Club is home to 18 holes, complemented by ocean views.
