Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa has unveiled a $32 million renovation that saw updates to its guestrooms, meeting spaces and group programming across more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor venues.
Set on Fort Lauderdale’s largest stretch of private beach, the 650-key resort is celebrating its 40th anniversary by debuting these design-forward updates. Highlights for meetings and group events include:
- Refreshed meeting and ballroom spaces, which now have sculptural lighting, new furnishings and custom carpeting; five key venues received upgrades, including the 15,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom and 8,000-square-foot Caribbean Ballroom.
- Beachfront team-building experiences for groups—think newly added pickleball courts with onsite pros to assist, sand sculpting tournaments, seaside yoga, build-a-bike activations and custom scavenger hunts around Fort Lauderdale, all supported by full-service event facilitation and beach permitting coordination.
- The revamped Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar now offers expanded group dining options and menus curated by Executive Chef Mikey Termini, highlighting Caribbean and Latin American influences with freshly caught seafood.
The resort is situated just minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades cruise terminal.
