Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, owned and operated by Marc & Rose Hospitality, has unveiled a $10 million transformation. The resort offers 744 suites and villas, a seven-acre Oasis Water Park, an 18-hole championship golf course, an athletic club and spa, as well as over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. The building’s exteriors have undergone a major transformation, complete with new tiles, refreshed fountains, updated lighting and vibrant flower beds.
The resort has upgraded many of its public spaces, too, including the lobby, pools, athletic club and spa, as well as Aunt Chilada’s Tempe restaurant. The lobby and its patio have been enhanced with new furniture, a sound system and ambient lighting that illuminates the pond, bridge and waterfall. Aunt Chilada’s Tempe restaurant has new lighting and music lining the walkway, inviting guests to enjoy a stroll from the main resort area. All six outdoor pools are now equipped with new chaise lounge chairs. The athletic club and spa now has a revamped entryway, new flooring and updated treatment room decor. Additionally, a refreshed Sanctuary area has been reintroduced, complete with zero-gravity beds, new furniture and window treatments.
The hotel’s trio of redesigned hospitality suites has been upgraded to include private outdoor patios, entertainment systems and appliances, including a clothing care system that can deodorize, sanitize and steam clothes in just 20 minutes.
The Mountainside Suite has been newly redecorated with larger TVs, a full-size refrigerator and more. The Sedona Suite has also been redesigned, showcasing new TVs, fully furnished patios, and upgraded bathroom and bedroom spaces. Additionally, the Grand Suite has a 98-inch TV and surround sound system in both the living room and primary bedroom, controlled via an iPad interface. This suite also includes a coffee machine with fully stocked assorted flavors, alongside three beverage refrigerators, and more. The primary bathroom now has a TV embedded into the mirror. This suite offers two spacious patios, one of which is fully private, equipped with TVs and a sound system.
The resort’s meeting spaces have also been upgraded to enhance their hosting capabilities. The Conference Center now sports new flooring throughout and refreshed bathrooms, along with freshly painted walls and cutting-edge technology, such as reader boards and 85-inch framed TVs that double as artwork when not in use. The Porte Cochere has a newly installed sound system and registration TVs, complemented by new artwork from a local photographer. Spanning over 6,000 square feet, the Vista room has been updated with new furniture. The space now includes a private standalone area that offers a bar, dining room, meeting room and outdoor terrace, all of which can be exclusively reserved by groups to provide the perfect setting for events without having to leave the resort. Outside, the Grand Lawn is sporting lush new landscaping, offering an ideal backdrop for outdoor events.
