Designed by Richmond International, the Wilson Ballroom and Promenade have towering doors with a Starburst timber veneer design illustrating the building’s past as the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Bespoke glass chandeliers that hang above the space have been designed with a contemporary twist on a traditional chandelier and reflects the mirrors bringing additional light and the allusion of space into the room to enhance the grandeur further. The wall lights are also bespoke and have been designed in a waterfall structure to reference the proximity to the water in Boston Harbor.

The golden and cream color palette has been designed to reflect both glamour and magnificence. Drawing on the building’s location, blue and cream hues were incorporated in the carpet as a reference to Boston Harbor and the New England seasons. The wall covering is a classic Herringbone design emulating the banking floor of the building’s past. The soft color tones were specifically selected to create a versatile setting suitable for all types of events hosted at The Langham, Boston. The artwork continues a portraiture theme featured throughout the hotel’s design; however, it’s contemporary in the Wilson Ballroom and Promenade.
