Global Travel Leaders to Gather in Paris for A World for Travel Summit 2025

Paris will once again take center stage as the travel industry confronts sustainability, geopolitics, and innovation at the 6th edition of the A World for Travel Summit, October 29–31.

The global travel and tourism sector—responsible for more than 10 percent of global GDP and one in 10 jobs worldwide—continues to grapple with the dual challenge of growth and sustainability. Against this backdrop, the 6th A World for Travel Summit (AWFT) will convene in Paris this fall, bringing together leaders from across the ecosystem for three days of high-level dialogue, debate, and solution-focused collaboration.

From October 29–31, 2025, attendees will engage in sessions tackling topics from climate resilience and regenerative tourism to digital transformation and shifting geopolitical realities. The program is designed to amplify diverse perspectives and highlight the partnerships needed to move the industry forward.

High-Profile Speakers and Agenda

Among the 80 international speakers:

  • Gabriel Attal, member of Parliament and former prime minister of France, will explore Europe’s role in navigating global turbulence.
  • Boston Consulting Group will deliver a keynote on “10 Forces Reshaping Global Business,” posing the question, Will Europe Step Up?
  • Aziz Abu Sarah, Palestinian peacebuilder and CEO of MEJDI Tours, will illustrate how tourism can be a vehicle for reconciliation.

They’ll be joined by ministers of tourism, entrepreneurs, and executives from organizations including Accenture, BCG, IKEA, ICF, Air France/KLM, Club Med, Radisson Hotel Group, Booking.com, Amadeus, and Trip.com Group, along with leading trade associations such as FIFA, GBTA, WTTC, GTTP, and the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance.

“These summits bring together diverse perspectives, from policymakers to entrepreneurs, to foster collaboration and accelerate progress,” Christian Delom, secretary general of A World for Travel, said in a statement. “If we are to make tourism truly sustainable, we must combine innovation, accountability, and global cooperation.”

Networking and Special Events

In addition to plenary sessions and debates, the summit will include a Seine River gala dinner (invitation-only), an awards ceremony, and opportunities for cross-sector networking. Delegates will also debate the future of sustainable luxury, AI’s role in the visitor journey, and how travel companies can balance profit with planet.

With sustainability, technology, and geopolitical stability all in sharp focus, the Paris gathering is set to be one of the most consequential travel industry summits of the year.
