Convene Announces Expansion Into SoHo

Convene has announced its expansion into New York City’s SoHo neighborhood with a new venue at 555 Broadway, also known as the Scholastic Building. Convene 555 Broadway will occupy over 32,000 square feet on the second floor, offering a maximum event capacity of just over 450 guests. This will be the 16th Convene venue in New York City.

Set to open spring 2026, Convene 555 Broadway will have a dedicated retail entrance with a welcome desk, providing a seamless entry experience for guests. To best serve the creative industries that occupy SoHo, the venue will provide clients the ability to create flexible layouts, numerous branding opportunities, and AV production capabilities including rigging and trussing.

Convene 555 Broadway will comprise seven meeting and event spaces including a 252-person main hall, a 16-person boardroom, five smaller studios that can serve as breakout space or standalone meeting rooms—including one studio with movable walls to create a larger, contiguous main gallery—and three gallery spaces for networking, receptions and/or exhibitors. Each event area can be custom configured to serve various function types and sizes from trunk shows, to offsite meetings, product launches, investor days, educational programs, training sessions, receptions, salon dinners, and more. The deal for Convene 555 Broadway includes coveted branding rights on the building.

Convene provides clients with everything they need for a seamless meeting and event experience, including:

  • An on-site five-star hospitality team that provides full-service event production resources
  • In-house catering managed by chefs providing delicious and nutritious cuisine with a focus on local and sustainable ingredients
  • In-room AV and production technology inclusive of high-resolution screens, theatrical lighting, top-of-the-line sound systems, and built-in cameras and microphones for a seamless hybrid experience
  • A customizable space that allows for client and event branding opportunities, as well as digital signage screens and totems throughout each location
  • Established relationships with external vendors for everything from event entertainment, high-end décor and floral arrangements, to gifting and favors, step-and-repeats, branded signage, and more
