Brush Creek Luxury Ranch Collection Welcomes Back Catherine West as Event Director

The Brush Creek Luxury Ranch Collection announced that Catherine West has been appointed as event director. A Wyoming native, West previously served as event manager at the the company from 2018 through 2019 and is returning to step into a new role as director.

In her new role, West will oversee all event operations for the collection’s three ranches including The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch; Magee Homestead, a Relais & Châteaux property; and French Creek Sportsmen's Club, as well as assist in managing events at the company’s epicurean center, The Farm at Brush Creek.

Sitting on 30,000 acres in Wyoming's North Platte River Valley, Brush Creek Ranch has long been popular for weddings and events. West will oversee all group events, corporate events and weddings at all of the ranch’s properties, as well as at The Farm at Brush Creek, which has a 4,000-square-foot event space, the Saddle Barn.

Bringing to bear nearly a decade of experience in hospitality and event management, West returns to Brush Creek Ranch after spending a year with Parthenon Management Group, where she converted all in-person conferences to virtual learning conferences for over 1,200 attendees. Previously, she spent six years at JW Marriott Starr Pass in Tucson, Arizona, where she held titles of spa concierge, spa attendant, event assistant, event services manager and catering sales executive. West also served as conference coordinator at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee.

As event director for the Brush Creek Luxury Ranch Collection, West is responsible for organizing and coordinating the Ranch’s event staff and event vendors, managing event budget, establishing communication plans for all events, and assisting with day-of production, design and technical needs.

West received a Bachelor of Arts in hospitality and restaurant management from Northern Arizona University and has received certifications from White Lodging’s professional training program, as well as Marriott’s professional training program.
